Dr Asmaa Al-Thani, Chair of the Qatar Genome Committee, chaired the Genomics and Personalized Medicine session, and Dr. Said Ismail, Qatar Genome Programme Manager, gave a talk entitled “ The Qatar Genome Programme: Leading the Way Towards Personalized Medicine”.
